Aug 21, 2014 - Buckie - too many churches and not enough pubs

After another full breakfast we are picked up by a mini-bus for the trip to Buckie which takes about 2 hours and passes through Nairn and Elgin. Buckie is a beautiful town full of stone buildings that are all well maintained and spread over quite a large area – in fact smaller settlements along the coast (Findochty, Buckpool and Portgordon) on either side of Buckie are gradually being incorporated into the one settlement.
