Sep 20, 2007 - Leeds to Alnwick to Edinburgh

Leaving Leeds, we are on the A1 heading toward Alnwick and Alnwick Castle (pronounced 'onnic'). Passing through Newcastle we see the remains of Hadrians Wall. This wall and numerous forts was built across northern England by the Romans to keep out those 'wild and unruly' scots. We are now on the E15 near the east coast. We see seagulls following tractors in fields finding bugs and worms to eat just like at home. Alnwick Castle from the distance is like looking at a picture in a book.
