May 30, 2016 - Day 8 Torpoint to Lands End
Had a good nights sleep and awoke to another beautiful day. The sun is shining, the gulls are calling. I've loved hearing the gulls at all the seaside towns along the way. I'd arranged with our host for breakfast at 7:00am as we wanted to get on the road early however when we fronted up at the kitchen, the chef was a little startled. Oct 12, 2011 - Land's End
No trip to the South of England should miss Lands End, Cornwall The most westerly point in mainland England. 2500 miles across the Atlantic Ocean is America. What a total and utterly rip-off. When you get to the end, there is a gargantuan hotel with restricted access and parking. Not even a clear view anywere of the sea. Penzance, Cornwall we managed to whip through on our way to St. Michael's Mount
