So bearing in mind my inability to set this up first time round for our jaunt in Zambia, I decided this time I would have a go on a site recommended by the Times and which seems to be more friendly for slightly special people, namely myself! Aug 20, 2012 - Walk along the Hamble Estuary

On the Monday after the wedding we didn’t go far. In fact for us we had a quiet day but we did manage a walk along the Hamble Estuary. Again it was another glorious day and Daisy discovered that chasing birds was fun but wasn’t sure about getting her feet wet when the birds went into the water!

Aug 19, 2012 - Kim and Marc's wedding

We had arrived on the Wednesday in the Southampton area for our nieces wedding on the Saturday, also our wedding anniversary. Our first job was a “sniffing out” meeting with the couple who were going to look after Daisy for the day. That went well so we were all set for Saturday. Martin arrived on Friday morning to stay with us for the weekend. On Saturday morning we were up early, Heather giving Daisy a long walk before taking her to Ron and Wendy’s for the day. Mar 23, 2012 - Nearly ready to be on the road

We had travelled down to Southampton on the tuesday. On the wednesday we headed to Alton to visit Gold RV and to go through progress on what was outstanding. They had made a great job of the lights and electrical conversion. The two items outstanding was the tracker to be activated the next day, the motorhome to be de-winterised, LPG fill and a general check over to make sure everything worked OK. On Friday we returned to Gold RV and started removing all the plastic and unpacking putting back household items into their rightful place. It...
