Today we checked out of House41 in Aylesbury and headed up to Bletchley Park - home of the code breakers in WW2. The website said to allow 4-6 hours. ha ha J thought! We actually stayed there 6 hrs! Nov 28, 2014 - Duxford Imperial War Museum

Today we visited the impressive Duxford Imperial War Museum. Our last visit was over 20 years ago but it had certainly changed. The museum is based on an old World War 2 airfield. There was a whole range of exhibitions outlining the history of flight, science of flight, a whole range of aircrafts including the first test Concorde, the history of the Duxford airfield and a lot more. Most of the exhibits were thankfully inside as it was a cold and grey day. We really only scratched at the surface of what the museum had to offer. An enjoyable...
