Yesterday we left Cornwall and drove through Devon to Dorset where we arrived at Crossways Caravan Club Site (DT2 8BE) near Dorchester. It was a nice sunny day and a pleasant drive. We were set up on a large hard-standing area surrounded by trees – the site was £15.90 for the night, has composting toilets and showers in a separate block. There was no WiFi and we were told no TV reception either, but David managed to find a few channels on the TV in the bedroom so he was happy! So, here I am at home on the Isle of Wight, currently preparing myself for what will be another life-changing experience. Dec 31, 2010 - Out with the old, in with the new

Welcome to the blog for my impending travels to South Africa (SA) via Germany. Just to set a little background to things, if you will. On the 17th January, I'm joining a Christian organisation as a volunteer and heading out to Mosbach, Germany to undertake an intensive preparation course for world missions. All being well, I will return from Germany to London, before heading on to SA on the 28th January. Whilst in SA, I will be partaking in a more extensive Discipleship and Missionary training course.
