Apr 6, 2017 - Meeting up with the girls

Today we drove down to Chichester to meet up with Hazel and the girls. They had rented a mobile home for the week as it was school holidays. Clive unfortunately had to work for part of the week. Aug 16, 2011 - Visit to Brownsea Island

Went over to Brownsea Island in the tender in the early evening as all the day trippers were leaving and walked round part of the island. Within 10 minutes we’d seen two red squirrels quite close by. I didn’t actually stay in Poole overnight but this place needs a page by its self as this was a low point and a time when I could have pulled the pin very easily and left England, without even seeing it, if not for the fact I had some people, that I love dearly, to visit!!! Caught the ferry with little issues and getting a taxi to drive to the terminal was sooo much better!! Sailing was OK, but cold outside in that Channel wind! First sight of England made my heart thump! I was coming “home” again and although in the past number of years I...
