Today we wake up to issues - the shower is not working! Not sure if it is the water pressure in the shower or the boiler. Carl checks it out and thinks he can fix it, however due to the fact we are going to Hull - we decide to leave it to later on. So we have a wash in the basin and are good to go. Jul 8, 2015 - The Deep, Hull

July 8 In the morning we drove into the nearby village of Cottingham, went to the bank and then into a charity shop where we bought a few second hand books to read on the holiday. Around noon, we drove into Beverley to meet Cath Harris for lunch, during which it poured rain. The rain stopped by the time we arrived back at Cath’s house in Molescroft and we were able to have a walk around her garden. Hello again. Yeah, yeah, I know! It's been a while. For numerous reasons it has become more difficult to 'file copy' since I embarked on this second leg. It's more rural and internet access is rare. I took the route out of London past the Olympic stadium, and headed through East Anglia, reaching Norfolk in three days, where I spent an evening of extremely civilised - and extremely cold - camping with my pal, ex-colleague and drinking partner Tarek, his family and an extended group of his friends.
