We drove to Willow Lakes (DN37 0RU), near Grimsby this morning. It was a scenic drive for the most part of the way with evidence of Spring all around. Willow Lakes is a small campsite on an estate with horses grazing, stables and some luxury lodges on small fishing lakes. We are the only ones here, except for a tiny caravan that seems to be permanent here. The charge was £14.50 for the night, with one toilet and showers and free WiFi.

Apr 18, 2012 - Last piece of the jigsaw in place

We spent two days in Grimsby getting our tow arrangement between the motorhome and the car. The kit we had in North America was unable to be used as it could not meet EU regulations. We now have to get used to a ball hitch but otherwise the set up is very similar. This was the final thing we had to sort out before getting back on the road. Miss Daisy is settling down well and is loving walks and of course riding in the car. However she doesn't seem to know how to play and is surprised by many different things. However she is very...
