Jun 28, 2018 - What day is today

Dear all, Well we are at Fowey. We arrived here from Falmouth, yesterday. The driver needs a rest today so we have a spare day here. We went to have lunch at a restaurant owned by Rick Stein. Nothing to write home about. The food was not so good. We have done a small trip around the harbour hear today. Have included a photo of a theatre set in the side of a rock mountain . It was rather amazing. Put in a couple of pictures of the local harbour. We are staying up the road from where Dawn French lives and where Daphne Du Maurier lived....

Fowey, England (pronounced Foy) was our last stop before returning to Dover to conclude the first leg of our cruise. This is an very small place located in Cornwall, southern England, and is a popular destination for “holidaymakers” from the UK. As we boarded the tender for the short ride into Fowey, we could hear someone singing… it sounded like a professional opera singer… which was pretty odd. The tender was packed with people.
