From the ferry, Turkey looked a lot greener that Greece had been with the land being well forested (In fact. 29% of Turkey is covered in forest), but up close you can see that the trees are quite far apart, nowhere near as densely vegetated as NZ. As we drove past coastal inlets, we could look down and see how crystal clear the water was. We couldn't wait to dump our packs and go for a swim.
