@@@@@@@ KAPOORS ON THE ROAD We set off one evening to the northwest corner of the island of Djerba to watch the sunset and were delighted to find a small group of fishermen’s huts sitting along the shore, just up from the beach. We had read that the new condominium development near the port, with its shops, cafés, and marina had displaced the local fishers and that they were forced to move further west along the coast. After an overnight sail from Tripoli of 130 nautical miles we arrived at Jerba, Tunisia. The harbour was really full of tourist boats and the fishing fleet but the harbour police organized several boats to move and we got tucked in among the fishing fleet. They were all very friendly. Although the lonely planet guide is very enthusiastic about Jerba we were not so entranced. Jun 17, 2007 - Bonne fête des pères!

On a pensé à nos poupis et à tous ceux qu'on connait et on leur souhaite Bonne fête des pères! On vous fera les bisous au retour ;-) Aujourd'hui nous sommes sur l'île de Djerba pour une journée de repos. Ouf! Pas fâchée de se la couler douce sur la plage :-) Pour mettre un peu de couleur à notre journée, nous avons fait une balade à cheval à 19h, qui s'est terminée sur la plage. Vraiment COOLLLLL ;-) Bon ben, rincez-vous l'oeil. Ciao gang!
