Jan 28, 2008 - Ratchaburi

Humph. That's about all I gotta say about this town. Something about it and I didn't mesh. I got to see the shadow puppet theatre, which is what I went for, and it was good, and then spent the rest of the day trying to get somewhere, but gettin nowhere. I finally gave up and found some cheap internet. Nobody could speak english, and there wasn't another tourist in sight. Even the lady that ran the guest house was a bag, and they're usually all smiles. Truly, that's all I gotta say about it. Stay tuned for something on the positive side.

Apr 20, 2007 - Bangkok

When we arrived in Bangkok we expected it to be pretty dirty and full of Thai's. Well from the airport it was complete hustle and bussle with about 86 taxi drivers trying to persuade us but thanks to being so scared of any Thai proposition we finally found a guy who was pretty quiet but looked slightly less like he was going to drive us to a random back-lane somewhere for the goats to get us! Anyway although he took us to the centre, he dropped us at some travel agent to book a hotel, reason being the huge commission he was given for...

It was so fun. The elephants could kick large soccer balls and score goals. By the way, these crocodiles have large jaws and they can snap it very fast. Then we went to a...

ARE WE THERE YET?

Dec 6, 2005 - Damnoen Sadouak - Drijvende markt

Buiten...

Apr 16, 2005 - Bangkok, Thailand

TS: Long uncomfortable journey back from Cambodia to Bangkok by buses. Final few days in Bangkok. Saw lots of temples and did lots of shopping. Jane loved it. Baking hot every day. Grand Palace is amazing, as is the reclining buddha. Loved Bangkok, but a few days was enough. Strange feeling knowing we were so close to going home.
