Dec 4/06 It's our last full day in the south of Thailand, boo hooooooooooo.... We got motorbikes again too. Today is our second day with them. We have gotten SO comfortable that Jess and I drive around like mad-women (we are) passing everyone and communicating fully via "horn" (We are also pretty good at imitating songs with the horn). We drove for hours yesterday...it was beautiful! We found a cool restaurant called the "Lookout", hit some road side shops (sometimes we think they sell peoples un-picked-up laundry), visited "old town",...

Nov 24, 2004 - Sukorn

Sukorn Island is predominantly Muslim and there are only a few bungalow operations open. After Phi Phi and Lanta is was good to be somewhere more low key and authentic. It was peaceful and the weather was great and we almost had the beach to ourselves, apart from the crabs. Everytime we walked down the beach for a swim, zillions of crabs scurried away in all directions, disappearing sideways into holes. When we weren't sunbathing or swimming or crab chasing, we amused ourselves with Connect 4 championships, Jenga and even played some beach...
