Jun 7, 2017 - Koh Phi Phi

Koh Phi Phi was a very small island, where we spent only a few days there. We visited monkey island where there were lots monkeys which didn't seem to be shy at all!! Some of them were even grabbing onto people's bags and legs. Unfortunately we were unable to visit maya bay which is a beautiful beach as it was closed. However we went to a few other small bays/ lagoons where we were able to snorkel with all the fish!

Jun 3, 2017 - Koh Phangan

Yesterday we stupidly decided to go on a hike to a waterfall in the ridiculously warm weather! However when we reached the top we got straight into the waterfall pool to cool down! In the evening we went to the Half moon party, which was in a forest. Feeling very tired the next day since we got to bed at 6 in the morning! We are catching the ferry to Koh Phi Phi tomorrow very early ...

Jun 1, 2017 - Koh Phangan

We had a our first experience of diving! We spent the beginning of the day learning how to use the equipment and then went for a 15metre dive! The colours of the fish and coral were amazing! We have arrived in koh phangan and spent all day by the pool, which was lovely to have cold water to go into rather than the very warm sea!!

May 27, 2017 - Koh Tao

We arrived in koh Tao feeling very tired so we spent the day sleeping on the beach. The following day we got a taxi to the other side of the island and went to a beach called freedom beach, where we went snorkelling and finally managed to see lots of colourful fish and reef.. Although somehow we managed to go to the wrong side of the beach at the start where the water was really merky and ended up cutting our feet and grazing or knees....

Mar 24, 2017 - Snorkelling

Today I'm writing from Krabi and it's gonna be an email of 2 days. As I said in my last letter,we went for a trip yesterday. Its not much to tell apart from that it was a snorkelling trip, we stopped at 4 different islands, one was more beautiful than the other, they just all looked very Paradise like islands. The best was the last stop which was in shark bay. Yes, they call it that because you can meet sharks there. And we did. There are plenty of blacktop coral sharks. At first we jumped into the waiving see. The tour guide said,...

Mar 22, 2017 - A little tranquility

Hello all my readers! Today's email won't be too long. At the moment we are in Koh Tao which is a small island just right next to Koh Samui. It's much smaller and of course as always, we wanted to avoid the party side of it, so we came to the eastern part of the island. If you do like party and ever want to come, just stay around the pier, there are lots of hotels and places to eat. However, we wanted a bit more tranquility. It's beautiful and peaceful here. As we got off the ferry, we asked how much the taxi is there. It was...

Dec 27, 2016 - KT Indians break world record

Woken by lots of Indians doing the 'ommmmmmmmmm' outside our hut, Praying went on for hours. Guinness Book of Records lady from Canada who works in London told me she flew over on Christmas Da y and was flying back today! It took hours and Indian ladies kept pinching our sun loungers! But the did it... The longest underwater chain of divers - pah! Not much of an achievement in my view! Swam in sea, started to rad 'Double Tap' Stephen Leather - pretty good. Booked snorkelling trip around the island for tomorrow.

Noooooooo! Quite funny to watch as the organiser was doing thumbs down and shouting 'Dive, Dive, Dive!' but they couldn't hear him and we're still whooping and cheering! Haha! We are going to try to sit behind the table where Norris & Ross will sit tomorrow! Hahaha! TI'm complained at reception about all the hoo...

Dec 25, 2016 - Christmas Day snorkelling

Strangely quiet day, lovely snorkelling and reading. Lovely and sunny today. Video called Brian & Pat at Audreys, Nic called us from York, then called Sal @ Mums. It seemed everyone was there! Quite homesick! (Until I saw a pic of Geoff's Pictionary game! Haha) Sat on balcony all evening. Tim had the green curry pot noodles we'D planned to have but I was too hot so stuck to salted broad beans and peanuts! Messaged lots of people.

Dec 24, 2016 - Christmas Eve on Koh Tao - Both strangely glum

The sun came out at last but we are both a little homesick missing family & friends and the exitement of it all. I've always wanted to be somewhere hot for Christmas and now we're doing it! The sun came out today & they'D filled in water channels they dug out earlier I the week which seems strange! Sat on the breach all day reading and swimming with our snorkels. Completely covered myself with my lizard sarong after coming out of sea to prevent more bites! Reading ' The Alchemist'
