Hat Yao Walking home from where we had dinner on a small beach near our bungalow, it got dark very suddenly as it has a tendency to do, and we made a wrong turn and found ourselves lost in the backways of the tiny coastal community inhabited by 'Chao Leh', who are sea gypsies - a formerly nomadic sea-faring group of people. Feb 2, 2008 - Siam as i see it

The date was 24 December 2002. I took a bus to Alor Star from Johor Bahru which took me about 9 hours or so. (I was cheated , the bus supposed to stop at Kangar but i was told the bus only run from Jb to alor star . I was lucky it was during the day , if not i would have panicked . Later i took a another bus to Kangar . I check in one of the cheap hotel in Kangar for a few days. Second day , i braced my self to the padang besar taking local bus.
