We ventured in to Gstaad for a little look about. I also walked down to the village of Rougemont and had a look at the beautiful church. There was eidelweiss growing near one of the grave sites. Another day of walking and enjoying the views. We walked around a beautiful lake called I think Launnen and took photos of numerous wild flowers. We had lunch in a mountain cafe. Delicious bratwurst sausages and a beer. We continued out walk to another area with more views and cows grazing and had a coffee. There was a little lake with a red dingy that look so amazing with the lush green everywhere.

Today we went exploring to Gstaad. The Swiss Open is on so it is very hard to park as Federer is playing We had a little look about before heading off to meet Patricia at the Berghof Hotel for a Swiss lunch of veal in cream. It was tasty. The views everywhere are amazing and there is snow on top of the mountains even though it is 34. We drove up to the Gstaad Golf club. I bought a tee shirt with a little bling. Wonderful course but I hate to think how much for a game. It is so pleasant to just sit on the patio and gaze at the view.

The last part of the trip was fabulous as the carriage had a glass roof and as I was the only one there I could more where ever I wanted. All the other carriages were full so I could relax in peace...
