Oct 14, 2013 After another restless night, during which I decided to use my wake time productively to continue my blog, we were awakened by the melodious alarm on my phone in the deepest REM sleep of the morning. However, we couldn't afford to sleep in as we had arranged to go on a 'panoramic' tour to many picturesque sites within driving distance from Hazyview. African Safari 2013

Jan 8, 2007 - more pics!

So the shark diving was really cool, but we learned a valuable lesson. When South Africans say to wear sun screen they mean it. even though it was a cloudy day we both got fried. Not to mention the 12 meter boat, (36 ft) was loving the 3 meter (9 ft) swells and at least half the boat was barfing over the side. Not us though. So after a day of recovery we headed east to Plettenburg Bay with a little detour past the true souther tip of Africa. Hope you enjoy these, theres more to come.

Jun 8, 2005 - On to Kruger

Hi everyone, Today is the first official day of the overland trip with Africa Travel Company. We are leaving from the Backpackers Ritz in Johannesburg and heading east to Hazyview, a town near the gates of Kruger National Park, one of the premier game viewing locations in Africa. Last night we had a predeparture meeting to let everyone meet each other and talk about what lies ahead. Overall, there are 11 people embarking on this 11-day leg of the trip to Victoria Falls.
