HOw fitting for our first day leaving the posh surroundings of Plettenberg Bay - It RAINED ALL DAY! I must say it wasn't that bad ... until I started putting up my tent at Buccaneers Backpackers in Cintsa. I thought I had it all sorted until I got in and realized I hadn't. Fortunatrely, there was an empty room in the bunglaow where Nick and Roni where, and I poached a bed the first night and then the coach the second. May 16, 2006 - Cintsa

So I have finally managed to get onto the internet again! I am in Eshowe and the connections here are rubbish. I am now in an internet cafe that costs 30 Rand an hour (about 2.7 pounds) and only has 56k dial up connection - the last place I was in had a faster connection but when I tried to enter a cd into the drive the entire drive just slid into the body of the computer... After Plet Bay I headed up to Port Elizabeth on the backpacker bus, where I was forced to stay overnight as the bus terminated there. When I arrived at the hostel there...

Aug 12, 2005 - Cintsa, South Africa

Well, I did not think that I would make it to beautiful Cintsa, but here I am. Alone for the first time in a while and I am a bit sad for it. It had to happen one day... Went horse riding yesterday which was lovely (Robyn, are you proud of me?) My horse was anit-social and tempremental, just like me! Went to the South Africa vs Australia rugby match and the local guys did a great job of getting me very drunk, very early. I swear I was still drunk from the night before....my poor poor liver!
