Betty's Bay- located along the scenic R44 ocean drive. It is home to a African Penguin colony. They are also widely known as the "Jackass" Penguin for its donkey-like bray and is confined to the Southern waters of Africa. Betty's bay is one of only 3 mainland nesting areas of the African penguin in all of South Africa. The best viewing times are early morning and evening.
