Jan 24, 2006 - Copacabana, Bolivia

Copacabana (Please see Bolivia Map) Tuesday 24th January After our 4 hour rickerty bus ride from La Paz we arrived in Copacabana around 3pm. The journey took us around the amazingly huge and glittering shores of Lake Titicaca which looked lovely but not clean enough that you would want to go and jump in it! Pour avoir du chauffage justement, je loge dans...

May 17, 2005 - BOLIVIA - Copacabana

After leaving Puno and feeling slightly improved, we were on the bus for only 3 hours before we crossed the border into Bolivia and arrived in Copacabana. Our journey hugged Lake Titicaca and the scenary was beautiful! Immediately when you crossed the border you could sense that Bolivia is much poorer than Peru, and it was also interesting to note that the Andean people looked different in Bolivia than they did in Peru - in terms of dress and general facial features. We settled into our hotel - La Cupola and into the honeymoon suite (ask...
