Nov 21, 2013 - Tairua

We stopped in another freedom camping on the Tairua estuary for the night but had to move before 7.30am so moved to a carpark about 1 km down the road k facing the other direction and the waves of the pacific ocean pounding up the beach. Quite a spot for breakfast. We then cycled back to Paku Hill to climb to a view over the estuary and up the coast. Driving around NZ is a real pleasure just the views from the windows are enough, you real don't waste a day if you drive nearly all of it. What's more Kiwi radio...

Feb 23rd 2009 Auckland Met our fellow tour travelers – just one other couple – and our tour guide, Richard Neale. This is really nice as four people make decision making easy for when to do things. Joel and Nancy Cohen live in Florida but originally from Long Island . Joel was a tie designer ( who lived in Como, Italy for 35 yrs.) working with Italians on design and manufacturing for companies such as Liberty in London, and goodness knows who else. He drops names like Armani, YSL and Ralph Lauren all over the place. He does have some funny...
