Kia ora!!! We drove all the way to Cape Farewell, the northernmost tip of the South Island, but stopped several times on the way there. We visited Abel Tasman National Park, where we went on a short walk around Awaroa Bay. Then we went for another stroll this time around Waikoropupu Springs, a sacred place for the Maories, containing the most crystal-clear waters ever and home to many birds and trouts. The water springs up from the earth below at a very high pressure and comes out to the surface through holes in the limestone cap covering...
