Said goodbye to Garth and moved on today. I had a great visit. One night we sat up talking up talking and sipping dark rum until 3 a.m. Today we drove to Pounawea which is a little village in the south east corner of New Zealand. Nothing special to see here.

Apr 2, 2007 - The Catlins

I mived further down the coast to the Catlins on my way to Stewart Island. The Catlins is a very southerly, very Scottish part of New Zealand. Even in the late summer, the hills were quite green, and the coastal pastureland was stunning. Not much else to say except pretty country and some interesting sights along the way
