Today we got up early today to go to south Auckland and pick up our rental car from GO Rentals. The cars are a bit older, but their prices are WAY better than any of the big companies, and they're very highly rated on the new-fangled interweb, so we decided to give them a try. We walked to the bus stop a few minutes from the hotel and then took a bus ride to a stop near the rental car lot. We were a bit early, and came across a cafe called "Kreem". I was awoken early,had to be suitable attired before breakfast arrived to my room, bathroom was wet, a bit nervous washing myself,didn't want to break the other leg, the lady who served breakfast was very quaint, 1950's style not unusual in this country. Spent time on the pc,having to re type unnecessarily but solved some technical issues with Patrick from Dublin help, he had two years experience on crutches at a tender age and has been very helpful to us both and is also computer wiz kid. Dec 8, 2004 - Wednesday; Finally off to Our Dream

We arrived in Auckland on the penultimate leg of our journey. Alex and Helen are safely in Singapore where they met Helens old school friends within minutes of arriving and they are nearly here for us all to get together for our Christmas on the beach. The flight from Cairns to Sydney was over massive storms and rain that hit the east coast of Oz and caused flooding and while we flew over the storms there was some of the worst turbulence we have ever experienced.
