Oct 13, 2006 - New Zealand - The South Island

Hi again! Due to the howling wind keeping us awake in Wellington, we snoozed most of the way on the ferry. Had it been a nice day, I believe the crossing itself is quite beautiful but it was raining so I don't think we missed much. The driver had opted to fly across but due to bad weather his flight was delayed. We therefore had an hour and a half visit to Picton, where the ferry docks. Nov 21, 2005 - Haast

Left a drizzly Queenstown and started the drive to Haast, first stopping at Lake Wanaka and the children had great fun feeding the birds, then moved further on to Lake Hawea which was lovely and turquoise. Then we drove there Mt Aspiring national park because of the rain we had there were waterfalls on both sides of the road for the whole drive amazing, as you can imagine it took us hours as we took so many photos.

Oct 19, 2005 - A Great Surprise For My Birthday!!!!

Hello, hello everyone! I am very excited right now to be writing this update as Steve and I have some very important news to be sharing with you! Yes, it is the moment many of you have been waiting for for a LONG time now...we're officially ENGAGED! Steve popped the question on my birthday (Oct. 18th). He was very sneaky as I had absoluetly no idea that this was going to happen.
