May 13, 2016 - Oscar's Birthday

The next celebration of birthday week- Oscar is 4. A pink transformer cake made by Maisie- in fact a delicious chocolate brownie- lots of fantastic presents which everyone has enjoyed playing with and a fish and chip supper. Home school was at Quarry Gardens today and the lessons were Art and cake eating! Hoping for the sunshine to continue tomorrow so we can go to the beach.

May 9, 2016 - Maisie's Birthday

Maisie is now officially a teenager! She chose to spend the day at Adventure Forest where she whizzed round like a professional; in the evening we went to see the Jungle Book. Next birthday coming up shortly as Oscar gets excited.

The Headteacher was pretty fluent in Maori and there were lots of traditional songs. I had to kiss all the leaders and the whole of Y8! Only the men had to hongi. It was all very friendly and a lovely way to be welcomed to the school. Coffee in the staff room- really wanted to take a photo for St Paul's- quite a view to de-stress on at lunchtimes. Izzy is in Finlay's class (Y7) and Theo is in...
