April 15, 2011 Day 6 Monjo to Namche 3445m - 4.5 hours We woke up at 5am and went back to sleep until 6am. I slept right through which was awesome. It didn't take us long to pack up and get ready for the day. We all met in the dining room ready for breaky. Nancy is feeling better but still coughing, Ann is not feeling so great though and has some stomach malady. We are off at 7:45am on our way to Namche. Nov 4, 2010 - Kenjuma to Monjo

After us both being more ill this morning we left Kenjuma on our way to Monjo. Joss is still feeling nauseous and 14 out of 15 of us have been unwell on this trip (the 15the person who hasn't been unwell is the oldest in the group may I add). Very slowly we walked along the path winding round the mountain. It was the same path we originally took from Namche Bazar. Unfortunately we weren't appreciating the view as much this time. We are so fed up of being sick we just want to get back to normality. But it doesn't change the fact the view is...

Apr 15, 2010 - Namche Bazaar to Phakding

Once again the agenda was changed and we will trek from Namche Bazaar to Phakding. We had a leisurely start and started trekking at 10:30 a.m. The trail descends the huge hill from Namche. I haven't mentioned the yaks. They are the most amazing pack animals I have seen. They are very docile and slow moving and sure footed. They seem to be uncomfortable around people.
