Since we had a short drive today we were in no rush to pack up camp so sat chatting over a long drawn out breakfast. Our first order of the day once on the road was to fill up with fuel back at Rundu turn off. There is a gas station on the corner into town. For some unknown reason it was taking the attendant a very longtime to fill us up. It was emptier than it has ever been but . . . The explanation was some sort of air bubble in the tank required to fuel to be dispensed slowly to avoid spilling. Elaine took the opportunity to chat up...Jump to full entry

We meandered through Namibia and Botswana for three adventurous weeks, our interactions with the BBC creating a tad of tension. While the BBC busily filmed five American women, we debated how to appropriately characterize their precocious stars, throwing about adjectives some might describe as warped. Hello Everyone! We now find ourselves in Lusaka, Zambia, the capitol. We're doing a quick internet and grocery shopping stop before heading on to our campsite. But, let me back up a bit. Since our last update from Swakopmund, Namibia we've covered a lot of ground and had some climate changes.
