We decided to skip the second stage of the Giro as it was a lot of driving and not a real important stage. Instead we made our way to the town the next stage starts in, Catania. Catania is the home of the volcano, the mighty Mt Etna. After missing the best volcano in Sth East Asia in the Philippines I was very excited to see Mt Etna which dominates the skyline of the whole east coast of Sicily and I had seen some very cool pictures of a Roman Amphitheatre with Mt Etna in the background. Jul 3, 2007 - Sicily Sizzles

Finally saying goodbye to everyone and starting our own journey was exciting, in saying goodbye, l mean that everyone was going there seperate ways and then joining later on. We decided to head to Sicily as it was hot, hot, hot!
