Mar 20, 2009 - Day 8

My family and I took a yoga class on the beach from a guy. Then I swam in the cold pool. We went to the International School of Sosua to look at it and eat some food. My sister and I swam in the ocean. We had a show for all the people that stayed and owened there. zi played guitar with this one guy who was pretty cool. Are yoga guy, Eli, juggled fire!!!!!!

Mar 18, 2009 - Day 6

My family got up and drove to Rio San Juan. It was pouring all morning so we only went and look around at beaches. Then, we ate at a very good restaurant and went to a gift shop. My dad saved this girl from the rip tide in the ocean!!!! We went to our friends and ate a fish called jack.

Mar 17, 2009 - Day 5

Today, is Saint Patrick's Day!!!!! It is a big deal down here in the DR. We went to an Irish Pub that had beach access. They had live music and a parade. We marched in the parade, but all it was were people walking down the beach with beer. They flew in Irish performers! Then I watched my friend, Nico, kite-surf. He is going to start teaching me how to kite-surf...

Mar 16, 2009 - Day 4

Today, I went to the beach and rode the waves on the boogie board. Then, my friends came over to play and have dinner. We played torpedo in the pool witha toy torpedo under water. We had ribs for dinner and the ribs were awesome!!!! My dad grilled the ribs. Our friends and I went fishing in a freshwater river and caught a few fish called snook. It was a great day!

Mar 15, 2009 - Day 3

Today, we played on the beach and met with friends. Our vacation friends are so cool. We got a pickup game of baseball going. My friend was so funny that when he swung, he broke the bat on his leg!!!!!!! Mrs. Jackson, the reason this is so short is my dads computer cant connect to the wifi so im typing on my Ipod Touch that is connected to the web.

Mar 31, 2008 - Cabarete

We´ve spent the last 3 days in a laid back town called Cabarete which is known for its surfing, kite boarding and wind surfing. Chad decided to try out kite boarding and took a lesson one afternoon.Its basically a huge kite that is attached to a board that you surf the waves with as the kite pulls you along. Its a pretty technical sport that requires a lot of background knowledge before you can get out onto the water. Chad was going to get out on the water the second day, but we had a big storm the night before and the wind and water...
