This last leg of our journey has been punctuated by: 1-Mosquitos 2-Sweat 3-Horses and the flies that plague them 4-A crazy ride on a quad 5-Lots of Spaniards Yesterday we opted to take a canopy tour on a zip line course that covered several acres of primary forest and thirteen platforms. Though not cheap, the course was much less expensive than any courses we could do in the states and Puerto Rico. Jul 29, 2014 - Into the heart of darkness . . . I mean Costa Rica

Ok... Enough with the Joseph Conrad allegories (thank you Mrs. Kephart). We left beautiful Uvita after a much needed rest at very comfortable cabins. Our not too long drive took us into the heart of the Osa Peninsula and on to the jungle town of Sierpe, where we were greeted by a Colombian named Conrado who only said four words to me, three of which were "Put car here." Jan 4, 2006 - New Year's Eve visitors

Whenever family and friends come to Colorado to visit, I either want to show them my favorite places - restaurants, bars, scenic views, hikes, etc. - or find a completely new spot to explore. Both Tommy and I were VERY excited to have our friends Brett and Christina from Colorado to visit us, and we figured we'd head out for new spots to explore.
