Jan 3, 2007 - La Hidrospeed!!

Hello again!! What a morning! We undertook the "Hidrospeed": my description yesterday of holding on to an oversized kickboard while flying down whitewater rapids was pretty much on the money! The boys absolutely loved it, I found it a bit too much like hard work as being that bit shorter a much smaller proportion of my body was in the water and my little legs weren't so good at steering, but as you can see by the photos I still had a fantastic time and managed to come out the other side relatively unscathed. Jan 2, 2007 - Hola from Pucon!

Well, there I was saying I couldn't get on a computer and here I am in a small town with whose internet cafe density per capita would be matched only by the number of adventure tourism outlets! Sep 14, 2005 - Pucon....a little like Jasper.....

We survived another overnight bus, and got into Pucon around 8:00am on Monday. Lyndz and I spent the morning walking around the cute little town that reminded us of Jasper. Later in the evening I went to the Hot Pools with some of the other people in the group. There were a few different pools, and one was nice and HOT!! We stayed there for a few hours, then Lyndz and I cooked our first meal in some time. The hostal had a kitchen which they let us use, so we had a cheap night! On Tuesday I went Canopying/ Zip-lining with David (aka Prince...
