May 31, 2016 - Onward

We woke up to rain this morning. Got outside and counted 17 RVs surrounding us (pic). Got off to a late start and then had to stop for fuel before we got on the road. Had a lot of wind today and that made for an early quit too. (Pic) 253 miles was enough. Karen picked up some Canadian money from the ATM today. We probably won't need much but now we have some. Karen made chicken noodle soup, yum, it's what's for supper!

Apr 15, 2015 - Our Trip Home

8 April to 13 April We are on our way home. We decided to head to Blythe, CA, couple hours west of Buckeye and take Hwy 93 to Vegas. Sep 14, 2006 - Winnipeg to North Battleford Sk.

Weather is getting ugly, windy and wet. Parked at the David Laird Campground coming into North Battleford. Plus 4 overnight with more rain and wind. We were overdue. Weather so far has been great. 1000 km covered today. Duramax is working hard. 10-11 mpg today (worst of the whole trip) with my foot in it.

Sep 8, 2006 - Cruising through Alberta and Saskatchewan

The route through Alberta passes through interesting and historic countryside - some pictures shown here. We camped in the Elk Island National Park. This 142 square kilometre interesting park is home to the dozens of wild animals one of which is the rarer wood bison, an animal 20% larger than the plains bison.
