June 3 Friday We drove to Dryden, an old pulp and paper town, which only is a pulp now, and stayed at Wabigoon Lake RV park. Not on the lake. Nice and sunny and warm 26'c, happy hour in the sun.

Jul 24, 2011 - Wabigoon Lake RV Park

We left Winnipeg around 0830 and headed East on the Trans Canada Highway 1. The road out of Winnipeg is is good condition for the most part and straight as an arrow. If you secured your steering wheel you could go for twenty miles and sleep the entire way as there are virtually no curves. The terrain is as flat as a board in all directions. About 30 miles from the Ontario border the terrain begins to change to rolling rolling hills and rock with the roadway being blasted through the rock sub-surface. We stopped at the Ontario Welcome Center...

Jul 7, 2010 - More driving

We gained an hour today. For dinner we stopped at Subway. Next door there were lots and lots of license plates hung on the rafters, most of provinces and territories, but some states as well. A Hawaii even. We spent the night at Aaron Park. It was very buggy. Travel today : 582 miles
