Dec 15, 2012 - Our bags are packed (not)

It's an extremely busy time. Getting ready for Christmas, and all that entails. Trying to get in all those connections with people that we haven't seen all year. And on top of that, trying to remember everything that we will need for our 30 day trip to Indochina. We leave on December 27th and return January 26th. Check out our itinerary and wait for our next posting from Bangkok.

Aug 6, 2012 - Nestleton

Day Forty Seven – Aug 6 Nestleton 120k This was a good day of riding. This is what we signed up for. We had cross/tail winds. We had low humidity and a low twenties temperature. We had lots of places to stop at and sites to see. And the distance was easy. It was a bright, sunny morning when we ventured onto the highway. We had been told that we could not be at the next campground until after 3pm so there was a leisurely start to the day’s ride. It was a relaxed start but I was still on the road by 7:30. Jul 21, 2010 - Our bags are packed, we're ready to go. NOT

Well, here we go again. Two weeks in Iceland followed by two weeks in the Netherlands visiting family. The Iceland portion of the trip will be the "adventure" part. We will try to make a daily journal entry as we have done in past journals. But it may be more difficult to do so. Some of the places where we will stay are VERY small. It is unlikely that there will be an Internet cafe. So we will depend on the generosity of our hosts to provide Internet access. We will pick up a rental car in Reykjavik and spend the following two weeks...
