Jun 6, 2018 - Moonbeam to Wild Goose Lake

Even though, for me, this is different country with lots of forests & lakes, there isn’t much else so I did a long stretch today of about 380 km. I stopped at Kapuskasing 25 km west of Moonbeam to get fuel & saw the huge pulp mill which has been producing newsprint for the New York Times for 50 years. I also read that Kapuskasing was originally an internment then POW camp during the war but there's nothing left here. Aug 19, 2014 - Day 10 - MacLeod Provincial Park

We left our campsite at 9:45AM to head into Hearst (only a few kilometres). We inadvertently (read stupidly) left our lovely metal step on the site and didn't realize it until our time in Hearst was almost over (about 12:15). We drove back to the park, but another camper appears to have taken it. That was the only downside of the day.
