September 2, 2019 Low 65 and high in mid-70’s, rained all night until 9 am Drove to Ontario Visitor Center, got Canadian money and started on the Wine Trail. Decided to have lunch and wine tasting at Caroline Winery. Tasted several reds and preferred the Merlot. Bought a bottle of dessert ice wine-grapes are frozen and 1 drop of juice is taken from each grape. This makes a very, very sweet wine. Sep 1, 2019 - Fort Erie Ontario

Slept in , walked down to enjoy Lake Erie one last time. Then headed to town for diesel and LP before getting on the road again. The 150 mile drive up to Fort Erie Canada was an easy drive except for driving through down town Buffalo. I-90 through NY is a toll road so we exited and took state road 5 a long Lake Erie through wine country. Lots of interesting houses on the lake and rows of grapes as far as the eye could see. summer 2019

Sep 12, 2009 - Lake Erie, back through Toronto to Quebec

We left Fort Erie, after a stop at the waterfront to say we'd seen our last great lake (well, our fourth for this trip). We then drove back past Niagara Falls, through Toronto, and on up Lake Ontario and up the St. Lawrence River. We made one stop at Prescott to have a good look at the river, then continued on past the border with Quebec. Of course, all the tourist information centres were closed by the time we got there, but we went to a KOA campsite west of Montreal where the staff were bilingual, and helped get us planned for our trip...
