Sunday June 8…10:30pm It was very foggy this morning, and quite cool until the sun burned it’s way through about noon. We had to leave the campground by 1pm, and to get our money’s worth, that’s when we left. We drove through Halifax and Dartmouth heading east along the coast. We stopped at a grocery store, and stocked up. Again, we find food prices to be very expensive here. But, you have to eat! Aug 28, 2007 - Oyster Pond Jeddore

Gregg has been searching for the ideal boondocking spot for the past month and found it here, in the town of Oyster Pond Jeddore. It was right along our highway, at a tiny community park and swimming spot, at the overflow of a fresh water lake. It couldn't have been more idyllic! But there was more - loons calling their loon-y sounds at sunset and a neighbor stopping by to chat because he winters in Arizona and saw our license plates. So typical of these friendly Canadians.
