We drove north to Cornerbrook Saturday morning and decided to pick up some groceries and other supplies then explore around the town. We found a walking trail in the guidebook that looked like a good break in the day but could not find it. We tried another driving trail that also did not pan out, but we did find the harbor and saw a Norwegian Cruise line ship in port. Jul 25, 2006 - Exploring the Green Bay area

Basing ourselves at South Brook we spent a couple of days exploring the Green Bay area. The Green Bay Area is located in the central bay area of Newfoundland. There are various hiking trails in the area so we got out our hiking boots to explore. Our first hike was the Rattling Brook Falls an 800 foot waterfall overlooking the entrance to the community of Rattling Brook. The trail involved a lot of steps and Chloe out black labrador had to take them steady. But the climb was worth it. Our second trail was a lovely hike around Crescent Lake....
