We are on our way to Morgan and Amanda's wedding in Halifax. We left home yesterday at lunch time. We drove across country to Blackstock before heading south to HWY 401. We stopped for the night at Lancaster Park Outdoor Resort. It was a nice place on the St Lawrence River just a bit east of Cornwall. The bugs were bad and there were too many trees for satellite, so I wasn’t overly impressed. Aug 2, 2005 - Sussex to Edmunston NB

The friendliness of the New Brunswickers continues to impress us. We inquired at the Sussex Info Cente as to where we might fill up with fresh water. They called the City Manager who drove over in his car and escorted us to the city park where we could fill up, empty the waste and garbage. Now that is tourism service! The Scenic River Drive from Sussex to Woodstock follows the St. John River. It is very rural with large farms planted in potatoes, corn, cabbage and grain. Jul 27, 2005 - Crossing The St. Lawrence

In order to catch up all up to speed I will try to just do some point form notes until I get a chance to flesh things out. Sorry for the brevity. Late start boys; wanted to swim at the campsite. Very cold! Wanted to drive to the Saguenay Fjord today but it was too far. We decided to cross the St. Lawrence at St. Simeon. Man, I tell you - all those St.'s are enough to really confuse a girl. My French is pathetic but suffices with the help of my accompanying translators. They understand everything of course, but hate to converse themselves....
