I had an early breakfast and left our campsite at Rivière Ouelle at 5:50 am since I had a long distance to ride and would be losing an hour due to the change from Eastern to Atlantic time at the New Brunswick border. The route had us continuing East along Highway 132 ("Route des Navigateurs") for 48 km, passing through St-Denis, Kamouraska and St-André.
