Apr 21, 2009 - More Of The House

Here are some pictures of the house so far. Looks to me like there's been a lot of changes since the last posting. We've been busy on the outside as well as the inside. The pictures of the inside don't really do it justice though. The landscaping is coming along very well. Don seems to be having fun and is doing a great job. We may wait until next spring to plant the grass. We will be leaving for California on the 4th of May and that's when it would need to be watered several times a day. We'll see what time will allow once we get back. ...

Jan 22, 2009 - House pictures

Here's some pictures of the house in it's current state. Things are moving along very well. It's very refreshing after the slow down during the bad weather. It's difficult to photograph the inside but here's a try just the same. Soon the painting will begin which is our responsibilty. If any of you have ever seen me paint you'll know that I'm in big trouble. Next time you see me you might think I've gotten a good tan when in reality it'll just be paint. Jan 1, 2009 - Dreamweavers adventure continues

Dreamweaver arrived in Nanaimo, British Columbia,Canada in excellent shape. It was a cold morning with a lot of wait time. We were allowed onto our boats while the ships decks were dry. We were able to check her over thoroughly while we waited for the Dockwise Super Servant Three to flood the decks and allow Dreamweaver and all the other boats to float up off the stands that held her up during the passage. Once we floated off the stands the boats were being moved around quite a bit from the currents caused by the incoming water. It was a...
