I got up at 4am to catch the coach upto Mount Washington and slept all the way on a half full bus with generally either teens or geriatrics. When we got to car park I lingered to see which direction people would go, this wasn`t just follow the herd mentality but the fact visibility was about ten meters. I could see nothing but the coach and as far as I knew the coach driver - who looked like Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men only with a Gallic nose - could just be gettting his kicks from driving people into the middle of a snowy...

Jul 5, 2006 - Vancouver Island/ Victoria

Hi everyone, I was lucky enough to pass St Andrew's Cathederal this morning and go to early mass which is always nice as it is the same as at home. Victoria is a most relaxing and beautiful old city. It is the capital of British Columbia and on an island 1 1/2 hour from the mainland. There are close crossings but they are to the centre of the island. Captain Cook has a statue here as one of the discoverers which makes it seem a bit like home although that is where it stops. The Royal Museum was fantastic, it has a whole floor devoted to the...

Jun 13, 2006 - Journeys End

Victoria B.C.-HOME It is always difficult to return to earth after a trip around the moon but that is always made simpler by friends, family and the most beautiful place on earth in which to live. We would like to thank all the people that made this trip so special along the way and all those at home that helped us seize this opportunity. It was 10 months of fulfilled dreams.
