Dec 8, 2009 - Heading South to Victoria

Today we headed south from Nanaimo to spend the next three to four weeks (including Christmas)exploring victoria, the capital of British Columbia and the surrounding area. We could have gone north but the lure of possible concerts and a British type Christmas beckons us. We will explore the northern part of the island in the new year. Our campground(Weir's Beach RV Resort) is a little outside Victoria but in a lovely location with access directly onto the beach. Heather and Jenny will look forward to the morning stroll on the beach.
