May 15, 2008 - Across the windy prairie

We decided to change the route thinking we had done enough up and down the mountains so headed north to Edmonton and angled across . Went under the 2nd largest wooden railroad trestle in the world( It crossed the highway and te Paddle River) 2,414 feet long originally built in 1914. We stopped for the night(it was really afternoon) just past the Rochfort bridge at The Rochfort bridge trading post and Lac Ste Anne Pioneer museum. The museum wasn't open hyet but we peeked in the windows and looked at all the pioneer stuff around outside. Then...
