Jun 4, 2011 - Final fixes and Packing

Door window with a gap (duct tape?), trip to Skocdopoles (Ron and Carol's impressions), clean and air cushions, pack tools, pack computers, dishes, bedding, food, towels, etc. What did I forget? A week in the back yard. Run many tanks of water through to get the stink of antifreeze out. Test hot water heater, furnace, fridge, stove. Pilot lights all different.

May 4, 2011 - Getting the motor home ready.

Hello, dear diary. Wait, that's a little old fashioned and makes me sound like a tweenie girl. Let's start again. Greetings, Blogosphere!!!! Much better. Okay, it is now Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Last Thursday, I bought a 1986 Travelaire Class C motor home. It belonged to my niece Wendy, who is always so helpful and supportive. It was built in Red Deer, when Travelaire Trailers was a vibrant company (now out of business), and is a little over 19 feet long, bumper to bumper.
