On the road again with overcast skies but no rain. Traveling down Provincial Highway 2. Passing towns with names of Devon, Leduc, Wetaskiwin, Red Deer, Airdrie, and Balzac to name a few. We encountered a few rain showers during the drive and of course, the campground was wet and muddy. The road has purple signs with painted crowns and labeled: Queen Elizabeth II Highway". The campground is actually in Balzac, AB. We were given a menu from an Italian restaurant in Airdrie that delivers, so we ordered dinner instead of cooking. The food was...

Friday 16 July 2010 Woke up to an overcast day, not cold though. After breakfast Lawrence & Penny took us to Balzac (1/2 hour out of Calgary) to Cross Iron Mills Mall (huge) where there was a particular shop they wanted to take us to. It was called Bass Pro Shops; it was incredible. Penny took a photo of our faces when we entered the shop as we were totally blown away.
