Hi All, We all had a great time at Batemans Bay with a few running repairs again done and a trip to Mogo so the girls could do some of the shopping type stuff. On the way we saw some beautiful beaches. After Batemans Bay we moved to the far south coast of NSW to Merimbula where we did a bit of sightseeing at Bega including the Bega Cheese Factory and caught up with Anne’s brother and sister in law Dick and Sandra over coffee and lunch, it was beaut to catch up with them both and have a good chat. Oct 7, 2011 - Aus - Day 156 - Coal Creek

Made our way out of Melbourne towards the coast. Stopped in a small town called Coal Creek and went to a Historic Village right at the visitors center. Interesting to see all the old buildings that they recently restored. We talked to a 90 year old man, a local resident who volunteers at the village twice a week to talk about the history of Coal Creek to present day. He was very interesting to listen to, we must have talked to him for over an hour. The committee for the town went against the local council to fight for the nine buildings...
