Jan 4, 2004 - Long drive to Glenrowan

After a good nights sleep we set of on the journey to Glenrowan, the site of our next overnight stop, at about 9.30am. This drive was longer than we expected and we covered over 700 kilometres very often not seeing any buildings for hundreds of these. We eventually arrived at 4.30pm. Glenrowan was the site of Ned Kelly's last stand. Here was the place he intended to de-rail a train carrying the majority of the states police officers after killing a police informer in order to try to get his Mothers freedom.
